Finding out you’re pregnant can bring up a lot of emotions—and when the pregnancy isn’t planned, it can feel especially overwhelming. Sharing that news with someone might feel scary or uncertain, but you’re not alone. Whatever you’re feeling right now is valid, and support is available for you.

At Cecil Pregnancy & Family Resource Center, we want to be a safe place for you. All of our services are completely confidential. If you need—or want—someone to listen, and it feels less intimidating to talk to someone outside of your circle, we’re here for you. We strive to be a judgment-free space where you can talk openly about what you’re feeling and experiencing.

We all process things differently, and if you’re struggling to work through your thoughts on your own, that’s okay! Please don’t believe the lie that your feelings aren’t valid. They are. Even if the pregnancy was planned, it’s completely normal to have unexpected or overwhelming thoughts filling your mind.

You may be asking yourself questions like:

  • “How will I make this work financially?”
  • “Will I be a good mom? My mom wasn’t there for me, so I don’t know how to be a good mom.”
  • “What if my partner doesn’t want me to keep the baby? How will I single parent?”
  • “I can’t do this, but maybe I should look into adoption?”

If any of this resonates with you, we would love nothing more than to connect with you.
